Woven as One is an ongoing initiative of reconciliation at Saint John's Episcopal Church. Through this effort, we hope to reflect on our personal faith, to connect with one another in new ways, and to be renewed by the Spirit to carry out God's work in Carlisle and the world.

Reflection, reconciliation, joy, love—Woven as One aims to be both fun and enlightening as we journey together in spiritual formation. Our vestry and clergy hope that the rewards of this season will enable a stronger and more vibrant Saint John's for years to come.

Woven as One will provide great ways to deepen your faith while getting to know—and be known—by your fellow parishioners. Small-groups, special worship opportunities, exciting events, even an all-parish retreat are planned. A loom will make an appearance throughout this time, enabling all of us to contribute to a tapestry that reflects our journey together.

How can you participate?

  • Find out about upcoming Woven as One events
  • Get involved by filling out the form and indicating areas that interest you
  • Submit a photo to the photo tapestry
  • Weave a few rows on the Unity Loom at Woven as One events
  • Check the Spire and bulletin for new events and groups being formed based your input

Woven as One will be as great as the energy we put into it. Let's get going!
